🌸 भाई दूज (15.11.2023)🌸 एक दूसरे के प्रति कृतज्ञता बढ़ाने वाला त्यौहार!
भाईदूज के दिन प्रत्येक भाई को अपनी बहन के घर जाना चाहिए और बहन को उसका औक्षण (किसी देव या व्यक्ति का दीपक जलाकर आरती उतारना) करना चाहिए। यदि किसी स्त्री का कोई भाई न हो तो उसे अपने किसी ऐसे पुरुष मित्र का औक्षण करना चाहिए जो उसके भाई के समान हो और यदि यह भी संभव न हो तो चंद्रमा का औक्षण यह भावना करके करना चाहिए कि यह उसका भाई है। 'इस दिन किसी भी पुरुष को अपने घर में अपनी पत्नी के हाथ का बनाया खाना नहीं खाना चाहिए। उसे अपनी बहन के घर जाना चाहिए और उसे वस्त्र तथा आभूषण देकर वहीं भोजन करना चाहिए। यदि उसकी कोई बहन नहीं है तो वह चचेरे भाई के घर या किसी ऐसी महिला के पास जा सकता है जो उसकी बहन के समान हो और वहां भोजन कर सके।'
Festival that increases gratitude about each other !
On this day, a brother should go to his sister’s house and the sister should do his aukshan (waving of lit lamps in front of a Deity or a person). If a woman does not have a brother, she should do aukshan of a male friend who is like a brother to her and if that is also not possible, she should do aukshan of the moon, having an emotion that it is her brother. ‘On this day no man should eat food in his own house cooked by his wife. He should go to his sister’s house and after presenting her with clothes and ornaments, he should have a meal there. If he does not have a sister then he can go to a cousin’s house or to any woman who is akin to his sister and have the meal there.’
